Piętnaście sołectw z gminy Lubsza wzięło udział w konkursie "Wielkanoc w tradycji", który miał miejsce 12 kwietnia br. w hali sportowej lubszańskiej szkoły podstawowej.
Uroczystego otwarcia imprezy dokonał wójt gminy Michał Marek. - Bardzo się cieszę z tak licznej frekwencji i miło mi powitać wszystkich uczestników konkursu - mówił. - Jednocześnie życzę Państwu radosnych i spokojnych świąt wielkanocnych.
Wójt był również przewodniczącym jury, w skład którego wchodziły także Katarzyna Jaśkowska (dekoratorka i florystka) oraz Dominika Drozd z Gminnego Ośrodka Kultury w Lubszy, który był organizatorem konkursu. Jurorzy skrupulatnie oceniali wszystkie stoiska - zwracali uwagę m.in. na sposób wykonania palm, pisanek, ozdób świątecznych, a także naturalność kompozycji. Poziom rywalizacji był tak wysoki, że jury postanowiło (zgodnie z regulaminem) przyznać więcej głównych nagród niż pierwotnie planowano.
Pierwsze miejsce przypadło ex aequo drużynom z Czepielowic i Pisarzowic, drugie zajęły równorzędnie sołectwa z Mąkoszyc i Myśliborzyc, a trzecie (także ex aequo) trzy zespoły - Kościerzyce, Nowy Świat i Piastowice. Pozostałe sołectwa otrzymały równorzędne wyróżnienia, a były to: Błota, Borucice, Dobrzyń, Lubicz, Lubsza, Raciszów, Szydłowice oraz Tarnowiec.
Wszystkie sołectwa otrzymały w nagrodę upominki finansowe. Tradycyjnie na miejscu na wszystkich czekał poczęstunek, m.in. wielkanocny żurek oraz ciasto. Muzycznie czas umilali artyści z GOK-u w Lubszy - Jan Sowa, Aneta Staniszewska oraz dzieci z grupy Sówki.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
